Desktop and Application Sharing
Desktop sharing* in VIA3
enables you to show any part of your screen to everyone in the
meeting. You can use it to demonstrate a new software
application, share a web page, or show a file from an
application that is loaded only on your computer, such as a complex engineering
drawingVIA3. Participants watch in real time as you
open files, make changes, link to different web pages and more.
On Windows Vista (and later) everyone in the meeting can also hear the
applications you are sharing which means you can use it to show movie clips.
You can grant control of your computer to someone in the meeting so they can
remotely control the application you are sharing. You can take back
control at any time.
* Desktop and application sharing was formerly known as Live View.
