Invite to Meeting

Often, during a meeting already in progress, it becomes necessary to invite others. VIA3 enables users with either the Host or Presenter roles to invite others to a meeting already in progress. The procedure is slightly different for inviting registered users versus unregistered users.

Inviting Registered VIA3 Users

To invite a registered VIA3 user:

  1. From the Meeting Window, either click the Invite... button or select "Actions>Invite to Meeting..."

  2. The "Invite to Meeting" dialog box appears.

  3. Select the invitees you wish to meet with by clicking on the check box next to each of their names.

  4. Click the Invite button.

 

Inviting Unregistered Users

To invite an unregistered user:

  1. From the Meeting Window, click the Invite button or select "Actions>Invite to Meeting"

  2. The "Invite to Meeting" dialog box appears.

  3. Since the unregistered user will not be on your Contact List, you must email them a meeting link that is unique to the meeting already in progress. This unique link is provided here.

  4. Move your mouse to the link field and click once, the link will be selected and will highlight.

  5. Copy the link and paste it into an email addressed to the desired attendee.

  6. When the user clicks on the link, they will be taken to a page that includes meeting information and a Join button.

 

 

Note: Those attendees invited using the unique link will have access to VIA3 features for the duration of this meeting only.
