The higher the image quality of the display or application you are viewing, the higher the bandwidth required. VIA3 Live View offers two options to accommodate different connection speeds: High Quality and Medium Quality.
This option provides a more accurate display of your screen’s color and should be used by those with high-speed internet connections. High quality should be used by those with internet connections at 400k bits per second when this bandwidth is not being substantially utilized for other purposes. The High Quality selection provides high color or 16-bit color.
This option provides a less accurate display of your screen’s color, but offers faster image transmission. Medium quality should be used by those with available internet bandwidth of 200k bits per second or slower. The Medium Quality selection provides 256 colors or 8-bit color.
To change the quality of your display image, from the VIA3 Meeting Window:
Click the Live View icon to start a Live View session.
Click the Options button, which presents you with the Options screen.
Select High or Medium quality, depending upon your available bandwidth.
Click OK.
Note: Users with
56k connections will not be able to see Live View sessions.
