This feature provides a VIA3 user with the ability to create at most 5 status messages that will persist between user logons. Once created, a message from the list can be selected. In so doing, the selected message is distributed to all other VIA3 users who have that person on their contact list.
To create a custom status message:
From the VIA3 Launch Pad , click on the area that says, "Type a custom message here"
Type the desired message in the window provided and click enter.
A status message is limited to 132 characters.
The least recently selected message is replaced if there are already 5 messages in the persisted list.
Use the arrow by the message field to select a message for display
Note: Messages are preserved on
the machine used to create them. They will not be available from other machines
from which a user may log in to VIA3.
